I can’t believe it is already the second week of October!! And we’re still stuck in the hot summer weather. I mean, I can’t wear my cute fall clothes when it’s 85 out, now can I?! Glad to see the weather will be dipping back down to true fall temperatures as we go throughout the week :).

Here’s a look at what we’ve been up to this past week:

• I’m slowly working my way through the first module of the AJ Business Course and it already has me looking at my business in a whole new way! I am ready to update my goals and plan some exciting changes for my business 🙂
• Last week was all about inventory prep at work. Thank goodness for all the retail/food service inventories I have done in the past, my tiny little bookstore should be a breeze! This will be the last set of info to reset since I’ve taken over as manager, so now I’ll really be able to see how the changes I’ve put in place have helped our store.
• Have any of you ever found an app that you can’t believe you’ve been living without and are sure to love FOREVER?? I recently discovered PicTapGo (from an Amy and Jordan blog post, of course) and IT. IS. AMAZING. So easy to update and edit pictures on the go. And it is making my editing style for my mobile images so much more consistent!
• I relived a favorite childhood memory when I went with my sister Natalie and brother Nick to see Garth Brooks at Banker’s Life on Saturday night. The last time I saw him in concert was when I was 8 or 9 years old and it was my very first concert. Saturday was amazing and I am so blessed that I was able to share the experience again with my almost all of my siblings – we missed you Kristen! – and Jon. You’ll find me singing along to Garth albums from now until well into the new year!!
